    Default Automated UI testing?

Anyone here have experience using automated UI testing? If so, what tool do you use and why?

I'm looking at Selenium and Siesta and trying to figure out what the best course of action is.

    Thanks in advance.

Although I'm biased (as I work for Sencha), you could also take a look at Sencha Test, if you haven't already tried it. Sencha Test supports both unit and end-to-end testing of Ext JS apps via In-Browser and WebDriver scenarios, and comes with a set of APIs for referencing and interacting with Ext JS components that uses a Component Query or Composite Query syntax.

Thanks Daniel. I'm definitely in the process of researching Sencha Test. It looks pretty good!

While Sencha Test looks well on API side, note that's a closed enviroment, at some point you may have issues with it as any software has bugs, and you won't have the posibility to fix it on your end and ask for Sencha Support's which we all know lately is dead. Speaking from my experience of course, we've had our issues fixed after a month or so, and tens of comments and fustrations with providing different test cases, this was before IDERA, when they had some good devs in the team. So be carefully, you can become dependent on them 100%. I would rather chose a more friendly open platform where you can overcome your issues fast.

    We use senemium and nightwatch.
Works fine after some time spent creating some util classes for selecting and interacting with Ext components.
