    Default Cannot read property 'apply' of undefined on fireEvent

    Hi there,

    I just started getting "Cannot read property 'apply' of undefined" when I call fireEvent. I am not sure what I changed to break it because it was working. I have removed all of the code from the event handler and I still get the error so I can only assume it is something with the definition of the event.

    Searching the forum, I only found one item that relates to the fireEvent and it does not apply to my current issue. I am using the 6.2.x framework.

    Code for the fireEvent:

    Code:
    onDataviewItemDblClick: function(dataview, record, item, index, e, eOpts) {
            e.stopEvent();
            var RaceSupportVehicleWindow2 = Ext.create('rm.view.DispatchDoVehicle');
            RaceSupportVehicleWindow2.show();
            RaceSupportVehicleWindow2.fireEvent('loadDVRecord',record.get('uid'));

        }
    Code for the event handler:
    Code:
    loadDVRecord: function(supportID, eventOptions) {
            Ext.Msg.alert("debug: made it here");
        },
    Definition of event:
    Code:
    ,
        listeners: {
            loadDVRecord: 'loadDVRecord',
            refreshWindow: 'onRefreshWindow'
        }
    The messagebox window I added just to see if it was making it does not happen.

    Any thoughts on what I might have done to break it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hello Mike,

    Thank you for contacting Sencha Support!

    I request you to provide a fiddle to showcase the issue. Here "RaceSupportVehicleWindow2" is loaded with records when item double tap/clickhence it is not quite clear that this is an issue with "RaceSupportVehicleWindow2" or internal set records.

    Sorry for the delay, another project took priority. I cannot duplicate the problem with a fiddle. Also, I have about a dozen places where I do this fireEvent. It is only on this one window and form that I get this error. I am sure it is something I have wrong in just that one form. Do you have any suggestions on what to look for?

    Hello Mike,

    Due to no proper fiddle/app present to reproduce the issue, I think this ERROR may come due to the wrong map of form data and Model, Please check your files name and model records once.
