    Default Code Validator

    Hi All,

Is there any method to validate the js/Extjs file (for syntax checking) And return error message? Is there any method to restrict the svn commit if there any errors/syntax mistakes exist in the code.

    please help me.

    Thanx in advance.

Thank you so much for your post. I apologize for the delay. I have shared this with the support staff to look into at their earliest convenience. Your patience is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks again,

You could simply try to build the application using npm or sencha cmd. If you need a faster way to check there are multiple js linters out there which you could use for this task (like jshint, eslint) but they will not be able to check your applications structure (e.g. did you require all necessary classes).

You can start with https://eslint.org/. As for restricting commits you can look into pre-commit hooks. Your questions are not specific to ExtJS so you will find a lot of resources by searching on Google.
