Default Populate a pie chart using a grid panel

    Hello everyone,

I am new to the framework, i have a grid panel populated via API, and i want to count the records according to their type and then display the results in a pie chart (the grid and the pie chart are not on the same panel)
I need some ideas on how to proceed.

    thanks in advance.

    Hello Azet,

Thank you for contacting Sencha Support!

You can filter the grid data based on the type and get those details from the grid store in the form of filtered data and then you can load the data in the store of pie chart.
It doesn't matter if the grid and pie charts are at different places but you can get the grid object based on the structure.

    Hello Azet,

I have created an example of filtering the data in grid shown below, you can get the data on filter change event whenever you do some filtering on grid
and then you can load the store of pie chart based on the data.
