    Default is formpanel's 'render' method necessary after 'add' method??

    Code:
    Ext.getCmp('testBean').add(new Ext.form.TextField({id:'vvxname', width:200, fieldLabel:'vvxname'}))
    after this code , should i use
    Code:
    Ext.getCmp('testBean').render('form')
    and is this necessary??

    if not , is there any other method?

    No, DON'T call render!

    Use:
    Code:
    Ext.getCmp('testBean').doLayout();
