    Default more detail pls

gslender : that really is a useless answer. T

The docs for Datefield say the following :

    Date.parseDate (defaults to 'm/d/Y').

    but what other values are acceptable ? 'M' , 'X' , 'y' ???

saying use 'setPropertyEditor(new DateTimePropertyEditor(java.lang.String pattern));' is only going to help if you know what variables you can pass from the editor field to java.lang.string and in what order.

Perhaps you could take 5 more mintes out of your life to present a better worked example using, perhaps and actual Ext.form.DateField definition.

and you are part of EXT Support ?? wow !

    slchorne,

This forum is a community forum - my response is correct and appropriate.

Paid support is in Gxt: Premium Help

You've also linked to JS docs which has nothing to do with GWT and Ext GWT - So I'm not even sure if you're on the same page as all of us here.

Thanks for feedback on a post back in October though...

    Cheers,
    Grant
