Google Gadgets in Ext Portal Layout
Has anyone used ext's portal layout as a container for google gadgets?
This seems like a natural thing to want to do, but I can't find any references to anyone who has done it.
It seems like you'd need to parse the gadget xml in order to generate the gadget settings interface, then persist those settings on your server and apply them the next time the gadget is loaded. The gadget layout and behaviour would be defined by the gadget's <content> section. Gadgets also support a home and canvas view, which may be harder to implement within ext...
Just some thoughts. If anyone knows of an easier way to do this, I'd love to hear about it.
