    Default Forum Attachment Quota??

I was trying to upload some samples for one of the extensions but it shows I'm quota! I'm a bit surprised. How do I increase that?

Dunno. I've had same problem. I have about 1.1 Mb of total attachments. I kind of hate to have to decide which attachments I should delete from other posts.

I hope we don't have to pay to attach contributions now

I'm sure that is not the case. I suspect there's some kind of glitch or unknown config somewhere, may have to do some research over on vBulletin. Apparently some of upwards of 5 Mb of total attachments without issue.

why not use free file sharing sites like megaupload then? I rarely do attachments.

Is that what's official suggestion from Ext? Host attachments externally?

obviously, they are allowing you to upload a certain limit. They do this because they don't want to pay for tons of data. I imagine the database alone with all of the redundant code and what not has to be over a gig or so.

No, I just can't find the setting in vBulletin. As MJ said above some people have 5MB of attachments and others have around 1MB and are going over. Not sure what the deal is and haven't got to look into it further.

If you can't attach something to the forum then yes, I'd suggest hosting it externally.

    try this:
Amin CP -> Attachments -> Extensions & Sizes, clicking on [Edit] of any of the file types available and clicking on Update.

After doing this, the Manage Attachments form shows the correct values (the ones set in Admin CP).
