    Default Problem with record.get('')

    Gurus!

    I can't seen to wrap my head around this little problem:

    Code:
      var cliRecord = Ext.data.Record.create([
        {name:'CLI_RECORDID'},
        {name:'CLI_CLIENTCODE'},
      ]);
      ...
      ...
      var cliDataID = cliRecord.get('CLI_RECORDID');
    I am being told that cliRecord.get is not a function in FB. Any ideas? Thanks.

    So what does the extremely detailed description of the create method in the API docs tell you? What does it return?

    Animal:

    I went back through the API documentation and was able to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the API doc does not remind one of the need to slow down, absorb the material and quit banging my head against the keyboard. I think I have a "D" up my nose (or is it the 'J' key?)

    Anyway, thanks for your help ! Cheers!

    You have taken a vital step!

    SLow down and read first. The 3.0 API docs contain all* the info you'll ever need.
