Default [Feature Req] Support for the Offsets Array in Menu's "alignTo", Button's "menuAlign"

I've encountered this now a few times, and never understood why Menu's "defaultAlign" and Button's "menuAlign", etc. config option only supports the positions string part of Ext.Element.alignTo.

It would be helpful to also be able to specify the offsets array and even the animate bool/obj.

alignTo( Mixed element, String position, [Array offsets], [Boolean/Object animate] ) : Ext.Element
I often have Menu's that I don't want aligning absolutely flush with their aligning elements.

I agree. It would be a very easy enhancement to add a defaultAlignOffset config. There's no animation, menus are just shown using showAt()

Any chance we could slip this one in before 3.0 final?

I know this post is extremely old but what is the solution to this in 4.2? The link here does not work for me. Thanks
