    Default [FIXED][3.0 SVN4294]Panel/Window Collapse leaves shadow visible.

    animCollapse can be either true/false.

    Demo here.

    ADD: If the Window/Panel is collapsed, and you move the header, the shadow resynchs. Then expand, and you'll still see the shadow synch to the header size only.

    Thanks for your report Doug.

    Here's an isolated test case:

    Code:
    new Ext.Window({
        width: 300,
        height: 300,
        collapsible:true
    }).show();

    I think it's the response to this report: http://extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70281

    The afterEffect() call was conditionalized to only run if animation was used.

    Yep, those need to get rolled back.

    beforeEffect and afterEffect played important roles in shimming/shadow synchronization (animated or not).
