Default How to correctly test if HtmlEditor is empty?

The getValue of the HtmlEditor seems a little quirky. It seems that upon initial load, before typing anything in, HtmlEditor.getValue() == '' return true. But after typing something in, and then deleting everything, HtmlEditor.getValue == '' is no longer true, even though there is no text in there. Can someone please shed some light on this? I even tried looking at getValue() in a MessageBox, and it seems like it is '', but testing for that returns false.

    Thanks.
