    Default Can I add an Ext.Menu to evt.target?

    Hi -
    I have created a menu as follows:
    Code:
    var blockMenu = new Ext.menu.Menu({
            id: 'blockMenu',
            style: {
                overflow: 'visible'
            },
            items: [
                {
                    text: 'Open'
                },{
                    text: 'Edit'
                },{
                    text: 'Delete'
                }
            ]
        });
    I want to open up the menu when an event takes place. I can get evt.target. With that being said, I can also get the evt.target.<Node/Element>.

    I would like to attach the above to evt.target.<Node/Element>.

    How do I achieve this?

    Thanks.
    - K

    we tackle this in Ext js in action (Chapter 10). use the showAt method - check the API for details.
