    Here's a quicker solution that seems to work well. All you have to do is attach a listener to the chart:

    Code:
    listeners: {
        beforerefresh: function(chart) {
            return Ext.isDefined(chart.swf.setDataProvider);
        }
    }
    Effectively, it's doing some ad hoc error handling for the refresh() method without actually going in and patching Chart.js.

    I am using 3.4.0 and this is still an issue??? Come on Sencha don't you think two years is long enough to get a bug fixed?
