    Default Hiding the scroll space in a GridPanel?

    I understand that the right-most column in a GridPanel is space reserved for a vertical scrollbar. Is there a way to hide this space without disabling vertical scrolling should the content overflow?

    have you tried using firebug to inspect the space and then use CSS to do this?

    No there isn't. There's no decent way to programmatically detect whether the scrollbar is needed or not. That's why space is reserved for it all the time.

    Try adding this to the gridPanel:
    Code:
    viewConfig: {
                    forceFit:true,
                    scrollOffset:0
                }
