Default Multi group on a Grid

    Hi all,

    I've seen this example : http://www.extjs.com/examples/pages/grid/grouping.html

Is it possible to have another layer of grouping, for example that the "General motors corporation" contains some sub-items (says cars), that can be grouped under the "General motors corporation" item.

    Code:
    -Industry automotive
        - General... | 30.27 | 1.09 | 04/03/2009
           - an item | xxx | xxx | xxxx
           - an item 2 | xxx | xxx | xxxx
    +Industry computer ...
Thanks in advance for any help

Note to moderator : this is the same post as http://www.extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86639, but I posted in the bad forum, could you delete the other one ? thanks

maybe you solve this with a TreeGrid?
This forum needs your help: you got hints from the community and now you have fixed your code? dont just reply with "now its fixed" or "i found the error"! please take the time to post also an detailed answer with the working code.

can you explain your alternative design. maybe it is helpful for others with the same design problem.

how about this thread with a link to a extjs multigroup grid (maybe you have the time to adopt it to gxt)

My alternative design is to open a new tab with another grouping grid with the sub level.
    Ok, it's bad

But I'm not able to write a module by myself, not yet.
    Maybe later
