    Default Ext Conference 2010

    First, Happy New Year everyone!

While planing for this years vacation, I was wondering if there's gonna be another Ext conference this year and if so, can you already give us any information regarding its time span and place? I assume it'll be in California this year.

    Thanks!

    Steffen

Just pushing this topic up. :-)

Just saw that Nils asked the same questions back in November. (No answer yet, either though.)

We'll be releasing details of the next conference as things settle into place - it's a bit early yet

    Ed,

it doesn't have to be details yet.
I remember last year that Ext announced the conference less than 3 months in advance, which increases the risk that it clashes with other dates, such as vacation, for people that want to go.

    Steffen

Default A simple suggestion about the next conference if any...

If there's gonna be a conference, I propose that i may be better a live streamed conference online.Because only a few can assist (US residents) so this way more people around the world could assist online and attend, so this way it would not happen the issues many ran about hotel reservation, expensive transportation and so on.

And maybe almost everybody (if release taped sessions/videos or whatever) could get a piece of information.Cause only a few got great info about the changes and new features. And also to expect EXTJs release any full documentation about new things its gonna be very long wait.

(im still waiting for the promised documentation about migration from 2x to 3x and so other promises) Dont take this a reclaim but the first conference instead of EXJTs release documentation we have to wait for attendees to release their notes about 2 or 3 months later. Even not the ppt presentations were released by extjs

We expect the conference will take place some time in August or September this year. More details to follow

Yes, a live-stream would be great and the only form to attend for most non-US!

Even more so, since the US border controls became completely inacceptable for European citizens. They became far worse than they ever were in any communist country!
