Anyone else tried out firefox 3.6 it is out today...
When checking my project things seems to go a lot faster on my project with it using Ext JS 3.0. I'm finishing up bugs with Ext JS 3.1 and 3.1.1 which should make things a lot easier and snappier then ever.
Things to know about 3.6:
Drag and Drop files to a Drop zone!!!
CSS 3 improvements including gradient css.
Observing all http requests
Just figured I would point out some of the things that are on my radar of using.
Tried it, Gears is not supported for 3.6 currently. Other than that it's fast
I'm in no rush to jump at the moment.
I observed two bugs
- Poll requests get aborted (using Ext Direct). This is really strange behaviour - around 1 out 10 request get status "Aborted". My first thought was that it was a server issue, but other browsers don't have this problem - and I have switched back now to 3.5.6 and it doesn't happen anymore either.
- Layout problem with a numberfield (text was lower).
I haven't properly investigated either of these, though.
The most annoying problem is the visible focus outline in FF 3.6 (see bugreport).
Well, I'm uninstalling and downloading 3.5
My 3.6 FF has started to crash regularly every 5 minutes. Even when it's not the active app. I can be doing something else and its crash dialog will come up asking me if I want to report the fault.
Every 5 minutes!

only thing i'm missing in chrome now is the FlashGot download manager plugin.
What is the equivalent of Firebug in Chrome?
Also, I would like to be able to support the latest Firefox release. So from that point of view I would like to solve issues like I have been observing. But I am probably waiting until after a Firefox bug fix to have another look.
