In particular, how do you express "type.setRecordName("item");" when using json instead of xml? ExtJS specify standard properties to construct a tree from json, "leaf" (boolean) and "children" (list of node items). It would be great to have a JsonTreeReader taking into account these properties as defaults to construct the tree. It seems such a common use case that a read-to-go implementation seems it could be very useful.
What I mean to do is to load a remote json file into a tree panel where the json file contains the entire tree, i.e., not an async tree.
Could Please post your code here as soon as possible? I am struggling to get the Json data from asp.net mvc controller to the treepanel. Infact the dataurl mentioned in the TreeLoader is not at all firing. Any ideas?
