Thread: [FIXED-32] Ext Designer does not start on Window XP

    Hi,

    just for info - after the automatic update to version 1.0.0.2 everything works now for me. After clicking the "continue trial" button the window for the projects now opens...

    Thanks Ext team for your great work...

    Mine hasn't automatically updated. I uninstalled, downloaded the latest from the site and installed but still the same (11 days trial remaining).

    I have the same problem on Windows XP Proffesional...

    I emailed Aaron. Turns out it is my proxy at fault. Although the designer should work with a manually configured proxy (in IE internet options), I have an auto config script.

    I will reset the time on the trial as well when the new build ships.

    I can't get it working on my Windows Vista professional too.
    I'm not under a proxy. I tried with direct connection to the internet, but nothing changed.
    Launching the designer, it ask me if I want to get a key or continue with trial and, continuing with trial nothing happend... the window is hide and the process stand in background (I can see from task manager) consuming 0% CPU.
    Same issue of some of the guys here.
    Any solution?

    Search for and remove the Ext Designer.ini file. Relaunch the application. After restarting it will prompt you to update. Download the update.

    Any update on this? My trial expired a couple of weeks ago without me ever getting to use it.

    Default don't work

    I downloaded the program today.
    no trial version starts.
    The process remains active service in the task manager but not the display disappears and nothing happens.
    do not understand how you can ask $ 219 if the software does not work.
