    Default Build your own yui-ext bug

    Hi, I built my own version of yui-ext with the following classes:
    • YAHOO.ext.Core
      JSON
      State
      Core DataModel classes
      LoadableDataModel
      JSONDataModel
    However, I'm getting an error "YAHOO.ext.grid.DefaultColumnModel has no properties" which I believe is due to the following:
    Code:
    YAHOO.ext.grid.DefaultDataModel.sortTypes=YAHOO.ext.grid.DefaultColumnModel.sortTypes
    The Builder tells me that I have all the right dependencies but there must be something else I am missing... Which other class do I need to grab?

    Probably at least the Grid Code stuff and maybe UpdateManager too.

    Right, but if I'm not going to use the grid then I don't really want to have it in my yui-ext.js..

    Well you're not going to need the DataModels either then.

    @tony: Just to make sure, did you try the build recently (as in, within a couple of hours before you posted)? I saw that Jack changed the build dependency order this morning around 8am CST to fix a similar issue with grid.DefaultDataModel problems. That was a couple hours before your post, but I still thought I'd ask.

    Tony,
    I will remove that dependency (the reference to DefaultColumnModel) on Friday.

    It now checks to see if DefaultColumnModel exists before creating the alias. Please let me know if it doesn't work for you.
