Used and contributed to ExtJS from 0.2.2 back when Saki, Jack and Animal. Took Sencha into projects right up to 4 and 5, then got the call from Sencha…Sencha Trainer from 4.0-6, also did a 3 month stint as technical sales, but didn’t like the sales side of things, training is more my thing, loved that and got great feedback.
Ran senchaworld.com (with legal permission to use domain) for several years and looking to relaunch that in 2018 (jan timeframe) as a community resource as well as to showcase a whole bunch of extensions we’ve written, as well as be a fanboi blog again.
At one stage my senchaworld.com site was ranking about sencha.com as it had the info and resources devs ‘needed’…
Proud to be part of this community, especially now that single dev licences are available again.. #sigh… in APAC that is critical, and something I’ve championed since they were removed.
Also had thousands of posts on the forums (as dawesi)
I AM your biggest Fanboi in APAC… when it comes to LTS and large apps, Sencha is still the king!
